Security Manager

We are seeking an experienced and proactive Security Manager to oversee the security operations of our institution. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of students, staff, visitors, campus facilities, and institutional assets by implementing effective security policies and procedures.
Responsibilities
• Plan, organize, and supervise all campus security operations.
• Manage and monitor security personnel, duty rosters, and shift schedules.
• Develop and implement security policies, emergency response plans, and standard operating procedures.
• Oversee CCTV surveillance, access control systems, and visitor management.
• Conduct regular security inspections, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
• Coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services when required.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and institutional security standards.
• Prepare security reports and recommend improvements to enhance campus safety.
• Train security staff on emergency response, fire safety, and incident handling.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline (preferred).
• Certification or training in Security Management, Safety Management, or a related field is an added advantage.
• Preference will be given to retired Armed Forces, Police, or experienced security professionals.

Experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in security management or a related role.
• Experience in educational institutions, corporate organizations, hospitals, or large campuses is preferred.

Skills Required
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Knowledge of security systems, CCTV surveillance, and access control.
• Crisis management and problem-solving skills.
• Computer proficiency (MS Office and security reporting tools).
